Social innovation is a renewal of the manner in which the work at an enterprise is organised. It will be organised in such a way that both productivity and quality of work will benefit greatly.
The difference between traditional thinking and innovation or social innovation is that one suggests the latest movement in the center of innovation. This is in contrast to the mainstream innovation literature, which is often about technological improvements (such as developing new products, services and processes). They theory that social innovation actually posits is that through investing in people in a way that they work as a team (system theory). Favourable conditions are created in which innovations and performance improvements are quickly achieved. With this people -often implicitly- revert back to theories and concepts within the learning organisation and strategic HR management.
With social innovation you create a stable and lasting HR management.
